IFC Trend Report and Mixer TONIGHT

Let's be realistic here, how busy are your Monday nights? No, really? Mad Men isn't back on yet, so clearly your free. Luckily for you, the Indianapolis Fashion Collective is putting on a trend report predicting style for next summer, since this one is almost over.

So if you're a boutique owner who's planning a buying trip, or who needs to train your buyers or who just wants to know what to buy for yourself during all of the pre-sales, this evening is for you.

Don't trust the IFC to make these types of predictions? You don't have to! Take it from the Chicago trend expert they've hired, Fran Yoshioka

Join Indy's most-fashionable for the lesson and a free mixer at my favorite hair master Phil Salmon's salon, Spa at French Pharmacie. Phil, darling, you're such a gracious host. I'll be there is spirit, so, see ya there!

Come to the H in the H going away party!

So I'm moving to Detroit next week, and thus beginning the next chapter of the Haute in the Heartland story. I'm not sure how many of you are out there reading this (Blogger tells me 120, Twitter tells me 643, and site meter tells me something completely inflated, I'm sure) but you're all invited to this swanky sendoff. Come eat and drink at my dear friend Binh Phan's bar, Bu Da Lounge on Mass Ave, if for no other reason than you love the posh invitation. That's thanks to Nathan Zarse at Lodge Design in Irvington. He's become something of the honorary official graphic design mind behind H in the H. Love you Nate!

R.Lynda launched a line of T-shirts

To celebrate R.Lynda Couture's first year in business, founder Arlinda Norris has launched a line of seven T-shirts.

Pictured to the right and below, modeled by Norris, each T represents a different facet of the R.Lynda clientele. The images, sketched by Norris, represent the edgy and trendy woman, the classic woman, the vintage and romantic woman, the diva and the casual woman.

Two of the designs simply say, "I heart R.Lynda," because who doesn't?

The T's are available exclusively at rlynda.com for $35 each.
